What is the Payment feature?
The Payment interactive feature allows a member to pay for meeting room or amenity reservations, purchase tickets, or order items.

When the Payment feature is enabled, the Submit button changes to a Purchase button. After making selections, the user will be asked to purchase before receiving access to the product or service.
Connecting Stripe to your Merchant Account
To add Payments to an interactive content item, you need to first set up a Merchant Account to receive payments. We use the Stripe payment platform to manage all transactions safely and securely. Navigate to Billings & Payments > Merchant Accounts to get started.
You may need to contact the Help Desk for access to the Merchant Accounts area in the Admin View.
After logging in to Stripe, complete the required business information and authorized representative contact details. Enter the banking details of where Stripe is to deposit your funds. This will be a bank account via ACH or by logging into a financial institution.
Be prepared with:
- Company details: name, address, contact information, website
- Company Type: What type of company is being set up?
- Contact information for an authorized representative: name, address, contact information, tax number, or other form of identification
- Tax ID: ABN, TIN, VAT, etc
- Banking details: What bank account do you want your payouts to go to
You can now access all of your transactions and any payment-related information via your personal, VTS Activate Stripe dashboard.

Payment Interactive Feature
Once a Merchant Account has been set up, you can enable the Payment feature when creating interactive Pages or Posts.
When creating a new Post or Page, click to enable Interactive features in the Layout step of the Content Builder.
Then toggle to Features, and click the box next to the Payment feature to enable.
Payment Configuration
Click the Add product or service button, and a side bar will appear to select the Type, Category, and Item name.
First, select whether the payment will be for a Product or a Service. That will affect the choices you see in the dropdown menu for Category, and then for Item Name.
After selecting your product/service, you will see a summary of the charges, including subtotal and tax (if applicable). Click Add to finalize.

Configuring a Subscription
Once the product or service has been entered, toggle This is a subscription. Set the Frequency of billing, if the Customer can self-cancel subscriptions, and when the subscription Ends.
Once the Payment feature is configured and saved, the Submit button changes to a Purchase button.
Configure Hours
Toggle Configure Hours to view an editable list of hours and days of the week. Click the pencil icon to edit. From here, you can chose which days to disable payment entirely, and which hours to apply pricing. You can also choose to set certain hours at a discount, or additional charge by changing the percentage.
For example, you can see below that the space is not available at all on weekends, and is available for double the charge on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The standard room rate is $200 per hour.
If we select a time on Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm, which is two hours, the total charge is $452 (Two hours at $200 each plus tax).
If we book the room for two hours hours on a Wednesday night, when the rate is doubled, the price increases to $904 (Two hours at $400 each plus tax)
Advanced Payment Rules
Advanced Rules can be added to change pricing based on the Team a user belongs to.
- Ratio: If set, the ratio will be the specified percent of the set price. For example, the set price is $10, if the ratio is 120%, the adjusted price is $12.
- Hours: Configuring hours adjusts pricing based on time of day.
Member Wallet
When members view the content item, they will see the option to Purchase the item using the payment details stored in their Wallet.
