Work Orders
This integration allows users with a Building Engines Prism account to:
- Submit new work orders
- Track and manage existing work orders
- View status, priority, requester, and maintenance comments
- Attach files or images
All work order activity happens within the VTS Activate app interface—users are not redirected to an external site.
Visitor Management (Limited Availability, speak to your VTS contact for more information)
Users can also create and manage visitor passes via Building Engines Prism from within VTS Activate.
Required Client Participation
See below for required roles and expectations on your side. Note that a Building Engines representative will also need to be included for this project.

| Testing Group | Works with Project Manager, Integration POC, and VTS to validate integration and triage issues |
| Friendly Tenant Testing Group | Recommended group of tenant users to test mobile access and onboarding prior to go-live. |

Client Prerequisites
Before VTS can begin, the following is required from the client:
GENERAL
- Provide VTS with your Building ID from Building Engines Prism
- Provide a support contact email for tenant escalations
- Create a service account in Building Engines with all-access permissions for email notifications
- Client to request API access from Building Engines, including PMO and building name (may incur additional fees)
- Building Engines will return Building ID and request VTS's API user email
- VTS will provide: sc_vts_integrations@vts.com
- Building Engines will return API account confirmation and AccountID
Visitors
- Ensure your BE subscription is up to date to allow QR code functionality (may incur additional fees)
